Perthmore Development was formed in 1982 with Tony DeCaria receiving draft plan approval based on a 600 family community of attached and detached one and two-storey homes. It was in 1985 when Mr. DeCaria Sr. started marketing and construction of the Perthmore Lands. This had grown to an established community of 250 homes constructed by proven quality home builders and developers.

Perthmore Village Homes came to be in 2001, when Frank DeCaria, Tony’s son, took over the Perthmore Group of Companies. Condominiums, Townhouses and single-family homes are yet to be established in Phase V of the Perthmore plan. Frank is the President of Rideau Lake Homes as the Builder/Designer of quality retirement and family homes for Perthmore Village.

Frank and his family have made Perth their home and live in the heart of Perthmore. Frank promotes his homes as being Energy Star rated and all models are backed by the Tarion Home Warranty Plan. Rideau Lake Homes Ltd. Is also a member, in good standing, with the Ontario Home Builders Association since 2000.
